Simply put, if you do not learn how to handle criticism, you will not remain a leader for long. Todd Wagner, Adam, and John discuss what it looks like to respond to criticism well.

Episode Summary

  • When engaging with criticism, ask the Lord to amplify what is true and protect you from the fear of man and love of praise.
  • Seeking out feedback is crucial for good leadership. However, while feedback is really important, there is a big difference between flattery, feedback, and criticism.
  • Some of the most valuable things you can have as a leader are people that will give you honest feedback. Additionally, you should not be the sole arbiter of another person’s feedback. Share feedback you receive with close friends, other leaders, your spouse, etc.
