Church Leaders Conference
April 23-24 2024 | Dallas, TX
Since 2016, we've had a blast every year welcoming church leaders, pastors, and ministers from all over the world for two days of strengthening, sharpening, and equipping. Senior pastor or Sunday School teacher, elder or A/V tech--if you serve Christ’s body, this is for you. Hear from past attendees what makes CLC different than any other conference.

This is where we get into the nitty-gritty: the logistics, resources, and challenges unique to different ministry roles, with overviews for new initiates and culturally relevant topics. Expect a good mix of brand-new content and past favorites back by popular demand.
Customize your own breakout path or follow a suggested track. Can't fit in everything that interests you? No problem—you’ll have access to audio and resources from all the sessions after the conference. Bring your whole team, divide, and conquer.
CLC 2024 breakouts now available.
On Monday April 22 (a day before the conference starts), attend a pre-conference workshop for an intimate look at how we do ministry at Watermark. You'll get an inside look at the nuts and bolts of our operations and have the opportunity to ask questions, get inspired, and learn from experienced leaders. As co-laborers in Christ on the same journey as you, we're honored to share some of what we’ve learned along the way.
Pre-conference workshops are held on Monday, April 22, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with lunch included.
Showcases are an opportunity to experience Watermark’s midweek ministries live. Join us as we showcase The Porch (young adults), Re:generation (care and recovery), Re|engage (marriage enrichment), Merge (pre-marriage), and many more! Get an inside look at the preparation and execution of these ministries in action.
If you’re asking that question, it’s probably for you. Everyone on Watermark staff is expected to act like an owner and leader, regardless of their role. Similarly, we believe that anyone who feels a weight of responsibility in their local church or ministry is a leader and should be seen, strengthened, and celebrated.
“Church leaders” don't just serve in traditional ministry roles like pastor, elder, or worship leader. The faithful servants in IT, operations, HR, media, communications, and administration are doing critical Kingdom work. That’s why the key principles shared at CLC are intentionally relevant to all church staff positions.
And because the church is not one-size-fits-all, this conference isn’t, either. God works in both large and small congregations in unique ways, and our goal is to be relevant and helpful to you whether your weekly attendance is 50 or 50,000.
We hope you think it's a steal!
- Two-day pass to all conference sessions and breakouts
- All conference materials (including post-conference video and audio recordings)
- Unlimited coffee, drinks, and snacks
- Meals provided for lunch and dinner on Tuesday, and lunch on Wednesday
By the way, we take food seriously at Watermark, and we pick some of our favorite Dallas eateries to cater the Church Leaders Conference. If this isn’t the best conference food you’ve ever had, please let us know so that we can step up our game.
Watermark is a local expression of the Body of Christ that meets in Dallas, Texas. But “church” is not a building – it’s a people. Every weekend, we encourage the thousands of people who worship with us to go and be the church in their homes and communities.
What began as a core of eight families in 1999 has grown into thousands gathering at our weekend services and midweek ministries. Many of these ministries are volunteer-led, including: The Porch (young adults), Re|engage (marriage enrichment), Re:generation (recovery), and Re:gen for Students (student recovery).
As this conference continues to grow, we’re trying some new things logistically while making sure your experience stays the same. In past years, we’ve had workshops on Monday and Tuesday and main conference events on Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday, and Thursday morning. While this format has allowed for a more relaxed pace, it has also meant many attendees having to miss the final session on Thursday, or an extra day of travel expenses just for one session. In 2024, all pre-conference workshops will be held on Monday and the main conference will be held only on Tuesday and Wednesday (covering the same amount of content).
Welcome to Texas. No spurs required.
