Ministry Distinctives

A Discipleship Focused Care and Recovery Ministry

Discipleship is at the heart of Re:generation, shaping everything from how groups are formed to how leaders are equipped. These distinctives help churches create a place where people can be honest about their struggles, take practical steps toward freedom, and experience the grace of Jesus that changes everything.

Discipleship-First

Most people come to Re:generation looking for relief from a struggle, but relief or behavior change is not the ultimate goal. Re:generation points people toward full devotion to Christ, helping them see that lasting freedom is found in a daily relationship with Jesus.

Closed Groups Build Trust

Re:generation uses closed groups to create the trust and consistency needed for people to know and be known by others. Over time, these relationships provide a context for greater honesty, accountability, and encouragement.

Lay-Leader Led

Re:generation is designed to be led by lay leaders, many of whom have experienced life transformation through the ministry themselves. This model expands your church’s capacity to care for hurting people, gives lay leaders meaningful ownership, and helps lighten the burden on church staff and leadership.

A Place for Honest Struggles

We believe the local church should be a place of healing where people can be honest about what is really happening in their lives. Re:generation creates an environment where struggles can be brought into the light and met with biblical truth, grace, and authentic community.

Mixed-Issue Groups Address the Heart

Re:generation intentionally brings people with different struggles together rather than separating groups by specific issues. Mixed-issue groups and strategically designed curriculum help move the focus from behavior modification to the underlying heart and worship issues we all share.

Encourages Church Engagement

Re:generation is designed to help people become more connected to the life of the local church. Participants are encouraged to pursue church membership, find mentors, and serve in their church as they continue growing in Christ.
